The latest update for Dead Space 3 has brought about significant changes to the game, particularly with regards to the teleporting slasher known as the hunter. Gone are the days of unlimited teleportation; now, hunters can only teleport a certain distance before they need to recharge.

Furthermore, the limit on the number of hunters that can appear in a single survival race has been removed, making for a more challenging and unpredictable experience. But don't worry, you'll still have plenty of opportunities to take down those pesky hunters - and their new companions, the ubermorphs. These powerful enemies can now execute players and have unique death animations, adding an extra layer of tension to already intense battles.

The update also includes reworked animations for several non-playable characters (NPCs), including the feeder, DS1+DS2 +DS3 all slashers, Puker, Stalker, and Twitcher. These new animations bring a fresh level of realism to the game's combat mechanics, making it even more immersive.

One notable addition is the Brute spawner, which will periodically spawn a new brute for you to take down. And when you do, be prepared for a treat - the new brute comes equipped with a fresh set of animations and abilities. The Growler, a special NPC, also gets some love in this update, receiving new animations and AI enhancements.

Finally, players can now customize their experience by turning off the battle prompt through the Drvrej settings menu, while those who prefer a more immersive soundtrack can opt to turn it off entirely through the sound settings in VJ's options.
